13. DEN: MODLITBA ZA TO ABY BYLI SVATÍ POSVĚCENI
1Te 5:22-23; Ř 12:2, 4-5
Aby svatí byli zachováni a posvěceni ve své třísložkové bytosti, aby byli odděleni pro Boha od obyčejných a hříšných věcí (1Te 5,22-23), aby se nepřipodobňovali tomuto věku, ale byli proměňováni a mohli osvědčit Boží vůli tím, že budou žít životem Těla (Ř 12,2.4-5).
1 Thes. 5:22-23—Abstain from every kind of evil. And the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom. 12:2—And do not be fashioned according to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and well pleasing and perfect.
Rom. 12:4-5—For just as in one body we have many members, and all the members do not have the same function, so we who are many are one Body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
