\nL'\u00e9glise de Dieu a une double mission strat\u00e9gique : prier Dieu et pr\u00eacher aux hommes l'\u00e9vangile de J\u00e9sus-Christ. Souvent, nous portons notre attention sur tout ce que nous faisons pour le Seigneur au sujet de l\u2019\u00e9vangile, alors que le minist\u00e8re de pri\u00e8re de l\u2019\u00e9glise est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 bien plus important. La situation dans laquelle nous nous trouvons aujourd\u2019hui est un appel \u00e0 tous les saints dans le recouvrement du Seigneur \u00e0 remplir cette fonction de l\u2019\u00e9glise, parfois n\u00e9glig\u00e9e : coop\u00e9rer avec Dieu dans la pri\u00e8re pour l'avancement de Ses int\u00e9r\u00eats sur terre. \u00c0 cette fin, nous demandons aux saints des \u00e9glises du monde entier de s'inscrire et de choisir un cr\u00e9neau de 15 minutes pendant lesquelles, tous les jours du 1er au 21 avril 2020, vous vous consacrez \u00e0 prier, seul ou avec vos compagnons. Nous vous proposerons ult\u00e9rieurement quelques suggestions concernant les sujets de pri\u00e8re mais avant cela, dans un premier temps, regardons ensemble quelle doit \u00eatre notre compr\u00e9hension fondamentale du type de pri\u00e8re dont le Seigneur a besoin.

\nToo often we think of prayer as something we do only when we are aware of a particular spiritual or practical need or when we want to accomplish something for the Lord in a way of service, whether personally, with others, or as the church. Prayer for these things is legitimate and even necessary, but the highest and deepest prayers in the New Testament are, first and foremost, for God’s work in the saints and for His move on the earth (Phil. 1:9-11; Eph. 1:15-23; 3:14-21; Acts 4:24-31; Eph. 6:18-20; Col. 4:2-4). Intercessory prayer is a matter of co-laboring with Christ in His heavenly ministry. Such prayer is the pinnacle of the church\u2019s service to Christ. He as the heavenly Intercessor needs His people on the earth to echo His desire. Matthew 18:18 says, \u201cTruly I say to you, Whatever you bind on the earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on the earth shall have been loosed in heaven.\u201d Brother Watchman Nee helped us see from this verse that God in the heavens is waiting for the church to execute His will on the earth through prayer. Something may have been bound or loosed in the heavens, but it is only through the church’s prayer that it can be bound or loosed on the earth.
\n
\nThe book of Revelation shows us God’s divine administration in His consummating of this age. In this book we do not see the churches carrying out so many activities. Rather, we see prayer in relation to God’s governmental move. The saints’ prayers are present in the scene in heaven at Christ’s ascension and the opening of the scroll of God’s economy (Rev. 5:8). God responds to the cry of the martyred saints (6:9-10) with the opening of the sixth seal, which marks the beginning of the great tribulation (vv. 12-17). After Christ as \u201canother Angel\u201d offers the saints’ prayers with Himself as the incense before the throne, fire is cast to the earth followed by supernatural calamities, marking the beginning of God’s judgment of the earth and its inhabitants (8:3-5). In each case the prayers mentioned have dispensational significance and enable God to carry out His administration.
\n
\nLe Seigneur d\u00e9sire mettre fin \u00e0 cet \u00e2ge et \u00e9tablir Son royaume sur la terre (Ap 11.15 ; 12.10). Il attend qu'un nombre de Ses croyants soit pr\u00e9par\u00e9 pour devenir Son \u00c9pouse et Son arm\u00e9e (Ap 19.7, 14). Aujourd\u2019hui, plus que jamais auparavant, il nous faut implorer le P\u00e8re selon Matthieu 6.9 et 10, prier que Son nom soit sanctifi\u00e9, que Son r\u00e8gne vienne et que Sa volont\u00e9 soit faite sur la terre. D'une part, la pand\u00e9mie qui fait actuellement des ravages dans le monde entier est un avertissement du Seigneur aux nations. D'autre part, il s\u2019agit \u00e9galement d\u2019un appel que le Seigneur adresse \u00e0 Son peuple, un appel \u00e0 accomplir la commission qui lui a \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9e d'\u00eatre un avec Christ dans Son ascension \u00e0 l'autel des parfums et de faire \u00e9cho \u00e0 Son intercession.
\n
\nThe Bible shows us that the created race of Adam, the called race of Abraham, and the church as a whole all failed God in cooperating with Him to accomplish His purpose. For this reason, in Revelation 2 and 3 the Lord called for overcomers. We must realize that God’s move depends upon overcomers, and a key characteristic of overcomers is their prayer. The martyred saints crying out beneath the altar in Revelation 6 become the overcoming man-child in chapter 12, and when the man-child is caught up to heaven, Satan is cast down (12:5, 9). One aspect of the Lord’s recovery today is to produce overcomers who will fully cooperate with the Lord so that His purpose can be fulfilled and He can return. We must be those overcomers who are praying at the incense altar in the house of God to correspond with Christ, our heavenly High Priest, and to cooperate with God by praying on the earth what is out from His throne.
\n
\nThe saints in the churches in the Lord’s recovery should all aspire to be overcomers. However, we must realize that such spiritual warriors are not produced overnight. We need to build up our praying and fighting capacity. We believe that the unprecedented restriction many of us find ourselves under is sovereign of the Lord to grant us the opportunity to recover and uplift both our personal and corporate prayer life. If you read the New Testament carefully, you will realize that the apostle Paul’s ability to minister from prison was quite limited, but he prayed much. Similarly, Brother Nee carried out his public ministry for thirty years, but while he was in prison during the last twenty years of his life, he could minister only in a limited way to those around him. Yet during that time of confinement, he was able to join with the interceding Christ in a hidden ministry of prayer.
\n
\nWe are accustomed to viewing all the provisions of God, the bountiful supply of the Spirit, and the riches that we have received from this ministry as the spiritual supply for our growth in life for the building up of the church. This is not wrong, but we should realize that all these things are also to strengthen us to carry out the church’s paramount ministry of prayer. We need to read the Bible, know the anointing, and be nourished by the ministry of the age so that we can know how to pray according to God’s will and not our own. We all want to have the Lord’s presence, but we should realize that the Lord’s promise to be with us when we gather together in His name is in the context of two or three offering binding and loosing prayer in harmony with one another and with God\u2019s will (Matt. 18:18-20).

\nEnfin, alors que nous nous unissons ensemble au Seigneur dans la pri\u00e8re, nous devons avoir en t\u00eate la pri\u00e8re de Salomon dans 1 Rois 8.48. Dans cette pri\u00e8re, il mentionne le peuple de Dieu qui prie en direction de la terre sainte (Christ comme la portion que Dieu a lotie \u00e0 Son peuple), en direction de la ville sainte (le royaume de Dieu en Christ) et en direction du temple saint (la maison de Dieu, l\u2019\u00e9glise, sur la terre). Cela indique que Dieu \u00e9coutera nos pri\u00e8res lorsque celles-ci seront dirig\u00e9es vers Christ, vers le royaume de Dieu et vers la maison de Dieu comme le but dans l'\u00e9conomie \u00e9ternelle de Dieu. Cela veut dire lorsque nous prions, pour qui que ce soit, nos pri\u00e8res doivent \u00eatre dirig\u00e9es vers les int\u00e9r\u00eats de Dieu sur la terre, \u00e0 savoir Christ et l'\u00e9glise, pour l'accomplissement de Son \u00e9conomie.

\nFr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs, nous devons avancer. Nous devrions \u00eatre r\u00e9solus dans notre volont\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9difier ce minist\u00e8re de pri\u00e8re, \u00e0 la fois personnellement et les uns avec les autres. Toutes nos carences, qu'elles soient individuelles ou collectives, peuvent \u00eatre attribu\u00e9es au manque de pri\u00e8re. Actuellement, nous ne sommes peut-\u00eatre pas en mesure de prier avec puissance et endurance, mais les restrictions auxquelles nous sommes confront\u00e9es nous offrent un moyen de renforcer notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 prier si nous avons l'esprit de pers\u00e9v\u00e9rer. De plus, bien que nous puissions \u00eatre isol\u00e9s physiquement, le Seigneur nous a donn\u00e9 les moyens gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la technologie de continuer \u00e0 prier ensemble. Pour saisir cette occasion, il nous faut planifier notre temps judicieusement et nous exercer \u00e0 prier r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement.

\nThe saints in the churches in the Lord’s recovery have never been so ready to enter into such prayer. Today, more than ever, there is a strong one accord and rich blending among the co-workers and the churches on the earth. We can truly pray as one Body, even as one new man, joined to Christ, our ascended Head. Together let us put on the whole armor of God to stand against the rulers and authorities of darkness and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenlies. Let us continue steadfastly to pray at every time and in every place for God\u2019s will to be done on the earth.

\nAinsi, pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ce besoin en ce moment crucial, nous appelons tous les saints de tous les continents, de toutes les nations et de toutes localit\u00e9s dans le recouvrement du Seigneur \u00e0 prendre part \u00e0 ce minist\u00e8re de pri\u00e8re avec s\u00e9rieux, ferveur et vigilance. Nous esp\u00e9rons tout particuli\u00e8rement qu\u2019un grand nombre de saints participeront \u00e0 cet appel \u00e0 la pri\u00e8re mondial et illimit\u00e9 en officiant comme des gardes, des sentinelles positionn\u00e9es sur les murs de J\u00e9rusalem (Es 62.6) pendant ces 21 jours et jusqu'\u00e0 ce qu'Il soit lou\u00e9 sur toute la terre !
